Back to the big day in your life, filled with emotions, laughs, fun and happiness!! We are excited to announce our photography contest for this month. For all the photographer’s over there, participate in our “Wedding Photography Contest”. Its just simple! Just send us your wedding pictures (as many you can) to email@example.com or share it in our Facebook wall. We would pick the best among all the pictures sent and announce the winners. Last date for submission is Oct 08, 2012.
The images can be submitted in either two ways
The images should be sent to the mail id firstname.lastname@example.org as an attachment.
The subject line should be “Wedding Photography Contest”.
The body line should be with your Full Name and other contact details & describe your photo for our customers & judges.

Images must be under 5MB in size in order to be accepted. We prefer images be no larger than 1000 pixels on the longest side because we have many readers with dial up internet service. No frames or borders may be added to images. The only text that can be added to your images are copyright notices.
Images can be cropped, sharpened, color adjusted, and other minor adjustments.Spot color and other manipulations that can not be accomplished through the use of a filter are not allowed. Items may not be cloned out nor may backgrounds be changed. Images may not be collages or blends of more than one image.
By entering a photo in an assignment you certify that the image is yours and that you own the copyright of the photos. You further give permission for all photos entered to be used in accordance with the terms of service.
If any identifiable people are in your photograph you must have a model release on file that can be emailed / faxed / mailed to Backdropsource.com, Inc. at any time upon request.
All images must be work safe and comply with the terms of service. Any image that does not meet this guideline will be deleted.
Contest consists of two rounds of evaluation. In round one, each judge in a panel of photographic experts will select ten entries among all eligible entries based on the following criteria
Creativity 50% Photographic quality 50%
Winners will be chosen and notified by email. Decisions of the judges are final and binding. Winner’s photographers will be displayed in our Facebook Wall.
Right to Cancel or Suspend Contest
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control BDS has the all rights to cancel/terminate the Contest without any prior notice.
Terms and Policies
Copyrights of all images received for this competition remains with the respective participants. However, in consideration of their participating the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, Lasting for eternity license to backdropsource to feature any or all of the submitted/received images in any of our publications, our websites and/or in any promotional material related to this competition.

I made my first muslin backdrop. I bought the fabric at a local fabric store and dyed it myself. It was medium to lightweight, and it was only nine feet wide. After wasting a lot of time dying and other wise working with store bought muslin, I wanted something more professional (sewn edges and pole pockets) with heavier fabric.
